Submitting and completing a Traffic Management Order involves four key stages
1. Site Assessment
A site assessment must be conducted with the Location Manager, Producer, and/or Event Organizer to develop a Traffic Management Plan.
3. Technical Drawing & Planning
Following the Chapter 8 ‘Code of Practice’ issued by the Department of Transport, we provide a comprehensive detailed plan in CAD format.
2. Applications
Next, we coordinate with the relevant highways agency, submitting the application along with the method statement and risk assessment (which will be shared with the client/production). Upon receiving approval, we proceed to the next stage.
4. Execution
After all applications and plans have been approved, we deploy Chapter 8 qualified personnel and provide the necessary signage for the filming or event.
